We are surrounded by wonderful walks (the Hardy Trail and Wessex Ridgeway run through the village) and ideally situated between the county town of Dorchester (approximately 20 minutes) and the historic town of Sherborne approximately 15 minutes away yet within only 30 minutes of the Dorset coast, now designated a World Heritage Site.

Take tea in our guests' Sitting Room with a roaring log fire in Winter, there are numerous books and magazines to browse through.

An ideal place to relax after a long walk or before going out to dinner at one of the many excellent pubs and
restaurants nearby. There is also a very welcoming village pub within easy walking distance.

Tia's renowned breakfast is served in the Dining Room where again there is a log fire in Winter.

Quoted this year by the Tourist Board Inspector as
'one of the best I've ever had'.

You can either indulge in a delicious full English with locally produced organic sausages and bacon or Continental breakfast. We always provide fresh seasonal fruit salad, organic yogurts, grapefruit and
fruit juices along with free range eggs and our own homemade preserves.
We are happy to cater for vegetarian diets.

In the Summer you may wish to take tea in our peaceful and lovely half acre walled garden
- although your peace may be disturbed by our little terrier Lily wanting to play football with you!
